"I spent years auditing major corporations at one of the Big Four. Now I bring that same discipline to the businesses that deserve books they never have to second guess."
Rebecca Kazakoff is a CPA licensed in Massachusetts with over 12 years of accounting and financial reporting experience. She began her career at Ernst & Young before moving into industry, where she focused on SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and technical accounting for large, publicly traded companies in the life sciences space.
In recent years, Rebecca has pivoted to focus her energy on helping small businesses manage their finances. A self-proclaimed accounting nerd, she loves working directly with owners to solve financial problems of every kind, both the routine and the genuinely complex. The depth of her knowledge, along with her enthusiasm for the work, is what sets her apart, and it lets her look after everyone from smaller cash basis clients to larger accrual based businesses with more involved accounting needs.
She is based in Boston and works with clients across the country. The books run on QuickBooks Online, documents move through a shared folder, and you talk to her on a scheduled call, so where you are makes very little difference to how the work gets done.
